P90x: Day 86 – Hard to the Core
So today I did the P90x Core Synergistics workout routine, and let me tell you in the words of Tony The Tiger, this is a “grrreat workout.” But seriously, in my opinion this is one of the best workouts that the P90x workout system has to offer. There are some great isolation workouts, plus some great push up sections, which in the first push up section I did 40 push ups. You also get to do these wonderful superman to banana rolls, it sounds weird but it does a great job in working out your core. I feel like I have been running out of things to say about these workouts, because I have been writing about them for the past three months straight. But if there is one thing that needs to be said about this whole P90x workout program is, you need to make sure that you eat well, that you stick to the plan, it is probably the most important thing you can do during this whole process, and it is probably the most failed thing in the whole process. Which is sad, I chose a pretty bad time to do this workout, during Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and my birthday, which made it extremely hard to stick to a diet, I too could have done a better job and could have gotten a lot more results if I stuck with my diet plan more. I still got great results and I am extremely happy with what I have achieved, and maybe I am being to hard on myself, usually I gain 5 to 10 pounds of weight during the holiday and winter season, but this time I lost weight and kept it off.
